The Kuna Yala Indians live on the Caribbean Coast of Panama and hundreds of islands just off the mainland.  There are no roads to most of the coastal villages and certainly not to the islands.  On my journey back from South America I traveled thru the Kuna Yala region by cargo boat to get around the Darien Gap.
