Adventures of Airborne Andy
Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness

This was a very exciting trip, packing everything needed to survive out in the wilderness into a backpack and a canoe - if you aren't carrying it, you dont have it!  My brother in-law, nephew and his friend took a 5 day excusion into the wetland wilderness of northern Minnesota.  Over a million acers of forests and lakes, and more than a thousand miles of canoe routes.  Here are some pics, video and comentary from this awsome trip.

Jim's vast experice in the Boundary Waters made this trip almost seem easy.  I said "almost" because we still had to paddle, and carry all of our gear, including the canoes, thru the wooded areas between lakes (aka portages) in order to reach our campsite.

Here are a few more fish pictures. This was some of the best fishing I've ever had.  We had our fill of fish every meal.
